A motorhome, a desert and a formula to pass on
The setting makes the reference clear straight away. Miguel Lamperti drives Agustín Tapia through an arid landscape, takes a yellow suit out of a bag and leads him into a laboratory set up out of sight.
Gas masks, vats, measuring instruments and warm light draw on the visual vocabulary of Breaking Bad without recreating a specific scene. A few shots establish the film’s world, leaving the two players to carry the comedy.
The decisive measurement is not a mysterious chemical reading: it shows 370 grams, a figure immediately recognisable as a racket weight. The parody brings the story back to the product without interrupting the sketch.

The official film for the NOX 2027 collection
Agustín Tapia and Miguel Lamperti borrow the visual language of Breaking Bad for a short film built around a secret formula, 370 grams and a new generation of rackets.

The Reel introduces NOX’s new 2027 racket collection. The brand builds its recipe around three ingredients — experience, innovation and technology — which become components of a laboratory preparation on screen.
Detailed technical specifications are deliberately kept out of view. There is no materials chart or succession of models: the product appears as the experiment’s final result, summed up by the line ‘100% Pure Padel’.
That restraint suits the format. The Reel gives the collection an identity before presenting the range in detail, leaving the specifications to the product pages.

Lamperti knows the formula, Tapia takes it further
The choice of players gives the script its structure. Miguel Lamperti is one of NOX’s longstanding faces. The brand is documenting his final professional season with the series Antes de Irme; here, he drives, prepares the equipment and demonstrates the method.
Agustín Tapia takes the other role. He receives the formula, joins the experiment and, in NOX’s story, is expected to develop it further. The handover happens through gestures, looks and the two characters’ different positions, without a solemn speech.
The pairing is more specific than simply casting two ambassadors. Lamperti brings the brand’s history; Tapia represents the collection ahead.

An advertisement that embraces the sketch
The film runs long enough to establish a small fiction, while keeping its editing suited to Instagram. The shots are brief, the reference needs no explanation and Tapia’s and Lamperti’s expressions move the scene forward.
The product is saved for the resolution. That gives the Reel a reason to be watched beyond the launch itself, where a more conventional campaign might have relied on slow motion, close-ups and technical claims.
Its limitation is familiar in a campaign built around a recognisable reference: much of the concept depends on a world created elsewhere. NOX nevertheless connects the parody to its own story through the formula, the racket’s weight and the handover between its two players.

A visual reference, without an announced collaboration
NOX does not present the campaign as an official collaboration with Breaking Bad. The Reel announces no licensed product or racket bearing the series’ branding; it uses its visual codes to build a parody around NOX’s own collection.
That distinction avoids implying an association that has not been announced. What is clear is the creative choice: a short film, two characters and an instantly recognisable reference give the 2027 range a story.

Lamperti knows the formula. Tapia is tasked with taking it further.
